I did find out that when you have serious sun burn like I did, you can take white vinegar and poor it over the burn while in the shower and let it sit for a few minutes then rinse and it takes the sting out. Seriously, it worked.
Any advice about the peeling would be greatly appreciated. |
Too late for this sunburn but great information for the next exposure to too much sun. This advice was given to me by a pathologist at rural hospital where I worked as a medical transcriber. Was there alone on Sunday for the weekend shift. Went to work wiith a terrible sunburn (nobody there to make comments!) The doctor came in as was his custom - took one look at me and walked out. Back in a few minutes from a trip to the ER with Aspirin in his hand for me to take. Said the Aspirin stops the burn from the inside. In a matter of minutes, the burning sensation had disappeared and best of all--NO PEELING!!! Have passed this info along to friends and family. It really does work!!!!!
