| I can understand your emotional pain I have adenomyosis and the only way to cure that is to have the surgery done, everytime I have my period plus the week before and a few days after I pray for the pain to stop and want the surgery and then on the few good days i want another baby,,, my hubby is also undecided about having more kids or not. we have two boys 12 & 6 and we both would love a girl but then the kids do something as always and I sit back and think "are you friggin crazy?"lol

| I don't think you sound like a baby one bit. Gosh, that sounds worse than child birth. I hope everything gets taken care of and you feel better.

| I went thru the exact same thing with the colon bonding to the vaginal wall and uterus. I had 2 boys and had been remarried 1 year. The pain was intense to the point where I got stuck in the bathroom at work and couldn't get out! Even though I sometimes wish I'd had another baby, I'm glad I had the surgery. It was truly the best thing I'd ever done for myself.

| You can moan all you want, I totaly understand sweetie. Prior to my hysterectomy the pain was so bad, that when fetching my son from school I used to have to stop the car several times on the way home. ( I didn't drive much at the time due to the pain) The surgery wasn't great but you get over it. Just make sure you rest for a good few weeks after. I have no regrets, wish I'd done it sooner. Have you tried a hot water bottle for the pain? I found it gave some relief. Good luck for your op, I'll be thinking of you.

| Unless someone has been in your shoes sometimes people don't understand. I am so sorry you are in the pain you are in. I can certainly relate. I am facing back surgery very soon. I go in for my forth MRI the 16th. I have a herniated disc in the 4th and 5th and its laying on a nerve that effects nerves all down my spine. No one knows the pain I have had and are still in. It never goes away. The last 2 mornings I could not even walk so let me tell ya, I know what you are suffering. I hope everything goes well and you are going to feel so much better. That is what I am looking forward too. A day without pain. Pretty soon we can both come on here and say we are feeling great. lol!!!!! |

| No Longer a Member | My daughter is in the same shape with her insides all glued together with adhesions from prior surgeries from endo. Last surgery her intestines were wrapped and adhered to her ovaries which are polycystic. I am proud that you are able to have the hyst, Amy is too young with no children so the dr won't do it. Go for it girl and be happy, anyone that has lived the hellish nightmare of this disease will be rooting for you. Take care and hang in there, it's almost over. God Bless. |
