| What a crappy weekend.. Yesterday was this big deal about Josh and I.Then today, my sister was running through the yard with dakota, and I pulled her and threw her on the ground, and my mom got mad. My sister doesn't listen to my mom At all.. and my mom lets her do w.e. she wants to do. Well my sister is NOT going to run through the yard with my dog like that.. she was about to fall anyways. And it wasn't that long ago that dakota got a concussion! I want to move, but its not best. But now that I will b 18 on tuesday, I sure can!!! Plus my step dad will take up for my sister, bc my dogs are not important like she is!!! which I don't give a flip about her, shes a brat bc the way my mom lets her act. So hes going to come home tomorrow and yell at me!!! UHHHHHH!!!! |

| Oh, I hope so too!!!! uhh she makes me mad. And the only reason she was picking Dakota up outside, was bc of my mom. If it was me or my step dad she wouldn't have done that. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | You did the right thing. You have to protect your baby and your sister needs to learn that.

| Yeah, my partens are total opposites in that aspect. BUT dakota and aubrey to me are just like my birth kids, and I told them that, and they always say no your sisters more important, but I would die for Aubrey and Dakota rather than her. then it just makes me more mad that my mom lets her act the way she does. Like tonight, i started cooking supper, then kyleigh (my sister) wanted to go to mc donalds, just bc she didn't want to eat what we were having and my mom took her. Its that stupid. And shes 4 she needs to learn the word "NO!" I really do wish tehre was a dog day care, that I could put them in for the hours I work, I would rather pay to have them go somewhere then for them to be here with my sister. |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Your little sister should know not to play rough with them like that and especially when you are gone, she is very young though so i know sometimes they don't listen That is the reason i stopped leaving my babies at my bf's house, he has a 6 yr old niece and if i were not there she would pick them up, all 3 of them and it's very frustrating. I have never left Sophie there, w/o me being there, it's been that long since i've ever left them there alone and when i did it was only for like 2 hrs. Her mom does not discipline her at all, it's annoying. Anyway i def. think a young child like that should know that Yorkies are fragile and not to play with them and pick them up. Best of luck! And im sorry you had a bad weekend

| ok. I'm gonna play devils advocate here and say that yes, your sister needs to be reprimanded/punished for running around with your pups however, if my son who is only 13, as opposed to your 18, threw my younger son, who actually is 4, onto the ground, he would be in big trouble too. I would expect him to handle things a little better than that at his age. Just my opinion. I know 4 year olds can be bratty and difficult but I just think maybe throwing her to the ground may be a little harsh. Not saying you shouldn't stick up for your yorkies but sounds like she was trying to get your attention and maybe she feels like you love them more than her - actually, I guess you did say that so maybe you do. I'm sure there's more to the story. Sounds like you think your mom spoils her too much and maybe she does.... |

| I wouldn't let Ellie live with a small child. It's way too dangerous. If you can't be there to supervise, can you lock them in a room? I couldn't push a child over but I also couldn't let one chase Ellie. I would try to restrain them. If a child falls on a Yorkie the Yorkie may lose its life. It's serious. You are going to be 18 in a couple days. Why don't you just move? There is one more thing that I want to bring to your attention. Dog bites are taken very seriously by animal control. Your dogs are obviously not the type to bite, but what if your sister fell on them and that was their only way to get her off? Does your sister go to school yet? If she does the staff there could decide that dog bites are unacceptable and get the authorities involved. You don't sound like your step dad is your best friend. What if they bit and he gets upset? Where will your dogs go? I know I am talking in the extreme but stuff does happen. I would personally keep them separated unless you are holding them for her to pet. I have had to do this with a certain child and Ellie. It is the only way for all involved to be safe.

| I'm so sorry you had such a bad weekend, you sister needs to learn to respect your dogs. Try sitting down with her and explaining to her that if she had dropped Dakota, she could have really injured her. |
