| Your mom has my sympathies...it's so much like losing a member of the family...it's so heartbreaking, your moms heart must be so heavy right now..... I had to put my cat down because of cancer a few years ago (she was 13)...I didn't want to do it for what I now see as selfish reasons...if I had to do over again I would have done it sooner, I think she needlessly suffered those last couple of months... Three weeks ago I watched our lab collapse and die before my eyes, she had congestive heart failure, arthritis, and thyroid problems, she was only 11 yrs old...It was horrible to see .... I understand the loss of a pet, sometimes it's haunting....
