| I'll be thinking of her today. I've had to make that decision twice and it is so painful. On my website I have a memorial page that I would be proud to have her baby added. I have not only my babies that have passed but others that have asked to put their babies on there. If she wants her baby on there just pm me and if anyone else wants to add their babies just pm me I'd be proud to have them on that page.

| I feel so bad for your Mom. It's a very hard thing to have to do. All I can say is remember your helping your beloved pet not to suffer any more. Be strong, I'm sorry. |

| Thanks you guys. We are back, she didn't want to watch him be put to sleep. Which I can understand. My step dad was at work today and of coarse everything happens when he is at work, so he has to go back in the morning to get Bailey. Its very sad. |

Thats what I told her. They wanted to put him in the hospital part, but that would just pro long his suffering, so now he can finally rest in peace. He was 14 years old,98 years in cat life, he was really old! Now our only problem is the female that we still have here is going to mourn, so we need to let her smell Bailey tomorrow, and she is 15 years old, 105 in cats life. | |

| I've read that letting them smell them really helps them as far as closure. They know they are gone, and that eases their pain of losing their friend. I've been through that myself, and it is not an easy task to do. So sorry for your lose.

| I will keep your mom and you in my thoughts and prayers. Just give her lots of comfort this weekend! I had to put down my sick Lexxi and even though we KNEW it was coming and we thought we were prepared....I could have never known what I was about to experience. It was without a doubt, the most heartwrenching thing I've ever been through. I was in bed the entire weekend and I swear, I randomly cried for a good week Its hard. Lots of huggs coming your way!

| So sorry for your loss. It's so sad when our beloved pets get old and sickly. Thank goodness we CAN have them put to sleep to ease their pain and misery. Not that it makes the parting any easier. I always say - never again, no more animals, but I just can't live without them!
