I have found several snacks items low in fat, sugar and cholestrol. Try Quaker Apple cookies. Only 120 calories, low in the above also. Jello, sugar/fat free choc pudding. Delicious. Put a dab of cool whip/lite on top. Sugar free cookies. No fat, low cholestrol no sugar. Dole lite fruit. Comes in snack cans. Just enough for a stomach growl. I don't drink the syrup. Hope that helps some. |

Forgot to come post on this thread until I just saw it now....when the thread started I was about 155 this morning I weighed myself and I am 150.5 so the scale is moving, and in the right direction! Woohoo! I have been really enjoying Progresso'sLight line of soups for the whole can it is about 120 calories!! It states that it is 0 points per serving for those following the weight watchers plan, and they are really good. Here is the link to the soup for anyone interested...http://www.bettycrocker.com/Products...esso-light.htm I really have been trying to eat healthy snacks like fruit and low fat string cheese and I have been drinking water like crazy! On another note: some of you have mentioned sweet tea?! What is this and how do you make it? It is not good for you? Good Job Everyone!!!! |

You don't have to post your weight but make it a point to point your loses so we can cheer you on. Welcome, hop on the band wagon. We're here for support. Having someone to encourage you is a must. Good for you in the walking. I'm a walker also. Walk two miles on my lunch hour now that the weather is breathable. 15 grms fat is very good. You should try to stay around 1200 calories if you can. Keep up the good work and watch the lbs come off. We weigh in on Mon mornings. Catch you then. Good luck. |

And no, it's DEFINITELY not good for you! Just like POP (not soda)...or worse :p |
Ok, so I see this thread almost every day, and I keep ignoring it, but not any more!! I started weight watchers today, and I HAVE to stick with it. I'm 22 years old and I'm at my absolute heaviest, and I don't want it to get worse. I've always been on the heavier side, but never to the point of it being unhealthy. But over the last few years it has gotten to be an unhealthy heavy. I'm 5'5 and in high school I weighed 145 and wore a size 10. Not skinny by any means, and some might tell me I was fat, but I could run a mile in 7 min and I exercised at least 3 hrs a day and always 5 days a week. I played softball up until I was 18, and I have blown up since then. Ok, so here goes, I'm going to tell you all how much I weigh so I can hold my self accountable every where I can! I'm 220.6 llbs. Ouch! Like my on/off boyfriend always tells me... "You're way too young and beautiful to be this unhealthy." He has a very nice way of telling me I'm fat! lol So I'm going to do this finally, and get back to healthy!! |

Welcome, welcome. Way to go. Hang in there and you'll drop before you know it. Come here for support. See you on Mon for a weigh in. Your on/off boyfriend is very wise. He told you your beautiful, keep that in mind always. Before you know it you'll be back to your old self. |
Yeah! My scale finally dropped below 140. I have been on ww since last Dec. Sometimes I think it is amazing how much you can eat and still stay within your points. ww breads are good and I love the jello sugar free fat free puddings and popcorn. The 100 calories snack bags give you an idea of how many calories you were eating when you ate the whole bag or box of your favorite snack. |

Weigh in tonight! I weigh in tonight, but as of Friday night (I started WW Wednesday) I had already lost 5.6llbs. I couldn't believe it! My weekend was a bit shaky... I had 2 beers, ate healthy and went on a long bike ride, but I didn't count my points. But today I'm back to super strict! I took a water pill and have been drinking a ton of water. So I'll let ya'll know how much I've lost tomorrow!! |

where are all of our weight losers???? come on people...it's monday...time to weigh in!!!!!!!!!!! get your BUTTS off the computer and go weigh yourselves :) (pretending to be a coach here LOL) |
I forgot....I have to weigh myself tomorrow and post. Not good to weigh at night. Sorry gang.:( |
bummer, bummer, bummer!!!! got weighed yesterday and they said I was UP 1.2lbs.?????? I stayed on program all week but they said it might be my clothes. I've been weighing in in short sleeved shirts and shorts. Yesterday it was cold here in NJ and I had on a long sleeved shirt and heavy sweats. Oh, well it's a new week and not to be discouraged. I'm sure it will all even out. |
I'm coming off 10 days of assorted visitors and family events------ So I ended up gaing 2 pounds back.:( But hey, two is better than five! Back on track this week. Besides, before it caught up with me, last Friday I was feeling so good, my first day with no muffin top over my size twelve jeans!!!!!!!:D |
Hey all!! I weighed in last night, and I lost 6.6llbs since Wednesday! Yay! I'm so excited!! I even thought I had a bad weekend, but I guess it wasn't so bad!! 6.6 llbs in 6 days is OK for me!! I know I won't keep losing this much each week, since your first week is when you lose the most, but its a good start for me. I already can tell that I don't have that bloated feeling with my jeans on, they fit more comfortable. This is great, I'm soo happy! |
I start my diet this Monday. I was going to wait untill after the Holidays but My Husband Is starting back on his so I might as well too |

Hey, did you lose a couple of my pounds? No fair!!;) |

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday. Had family from out of town since last Sat and they left this am. I'm pooped. I didn't even get on the scale. I really tried to be good. I did have two glasses of wine and some food I normally would not eat if it weren't for cooking for them so I'm guessing I gained maybe a couple lbs.:( I think I'm doing really good however if I cheat in any way I gain. My metapolism (s) sucks! Congratulations to your looser's out there. Catch you next Mon. |
Quote:
She was recently diagnosed with hyperthroidism------ puts your matabolism to bed and is very common in perimenaposal, menaposal and post menaposal women. If caught early and treated, you can turn it back around. Just a thought.:) |
Quote:
Yes, I did see it. Found it very interesting. I have had my thiroid checked. I just have to stay under 1200 calories at all times to be able to loose at this point in my life. I don't excercise like I use too and that helped lots. It just plain sucks to get older. When you slow down so does everything else so you have to adjust your intake of food as well or you have a problem. |
