| ![]() I've had migraines since I was 8 or 9. They've finally ceased, for the most part but were replaced with tension headaches. I used to get headaches that lasted nearly an entire week. I was popping 800 mg of ibuprofen at least twice a day and taking muscle relaxers. I still occasionally take both but I've been able to cut way back. my headache tips -cut back on caffeine, do it slowly. If you go cold turkey on caffeine, you can get some serious headaches -watch the foods you eat, some of them can trigger headaches -watch your posture. And if you sit in front of a computer and type all day, make sure your shoulders aren't turning in and tensing up. -Go see the chiropracter! I love mine and I credit him for getting rid of my migraines. -Try yoga, pilates or nia. Anything that keeps you loose and limber
