my surgery was only on wednesday, the doc said he would have no results until next week. Well I called today to ask a question, and she was like oh I needed to call u anyway. The doc got the results back already. I am planned for another cat scan on tuesday. HIs assistant said after that he will talk to me because either he will have to go thru urthea again or thru back to get this last one out. He had thought they were uric acid ones BUT turns out they are calcium ones and they will not dissolves so surgery is a must.

I can't believe how fast they are moving with all of this. I can't wait until I feel 100%!!! Today has been a harder day with the pain but still better than b4 the surgery!!

So sorry that you require another surgery...

When will the final test come out so that you will know for sure what type of procedure needs to be done?? Argh! And I was hoping that all the stones could have been done with just one surgery!!!

i knew going in that it was going to most likely be more than one surgery. I will go for the cat scan on tuesday and they will send him the results. Then we will talk on the phone and plan what the next step will be. I just had the procedure where they went in thru the urthea to remove the stone. IF he can do that again, that would be great. He may have to actually cut into my back to remove it though. He wants to avoid that if poss since he says that is a major surgery. His assistant said I will probably won't need the stint again after the next surgery but not 100% sure about that yet.

I definately don't feel as well as I did after the surgery. I am very sore now. I spent most of my day on couch. For the most part Aurora is being very good but she likes to jump on me from the back of the couch. She lands right on my side , right where I am sore....but she doesn't know better. she is curled up next to me resting right now.

I am rather tired but killing time til I can finally take more meds again. Just 30 more mins then I can go sleep some more.

It's a good thing that you are resting, especially if there is a possibility of surgery. Please let us know Tuesday what the test results show. I will be holding a good thought for you.

WOW, I sure hope you are better fast.... hopefully they will be able to get this one too without major surgery... good luck to you and my prayers are headed your way...

I been waiting to post until I knew more. I got a call from my doctor today. They finally got done viewing the cat scan results. They got about 50% of the kidney stones last time. So they are very hopeful that they can go in thru urthea again. They hope it will be the last surgery BUT may need a 3rd. Going in thru the back looks like it won't be needed BUT they won't know more until after they see if this works.

I go in on oct 3rd, I am very excited that this is almost over!!!

Iam sure when this is all behind you , you will feel much better

kmart on the other hand needs to be addressed, they should of at least called you

I would call the district manager and let they know how that store treated you, even flowers would of been nice

but to go un noticed is just not right, Hope you continue on your road to a speedy recovery and well being

I got a letter from kmart finally...well from a third party that handles that stuff. Just a basic heres the case numbers and we are handling it. No real sorry it happened or are you ok.

I had my second surgery on oct 3rd, they believe they got all the stones this time. I will not know for 100% sure until my cat scan on Nov 2nd. I been doing pretty good, but I have not been resting so I am having some bad spells. I went shopping on the way home from the surgery. Been shopping like crazy for fabrics and stuff since I am starting a business of making various stuff for pets. I went shopping for too many days for too long at a time but it will be worth it. It feels good to see my first bed posted on ebay. I am even working on my website.
