| I don't know if they still have this stuff, but it's called Chloreseptic. It's a gargle type liquid and you can also use it to spray on cancor sores. I used it while I waited for my wisdom teeth to break through the gums (didn't want them dug out) and again afterwards. It numbs it pretty good although it wears off after about 45 minutes to an hour. I just kept spraying it back there and it worked for me really well.

| You know.....thinking back to May of 1977.....I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out at the same time.....Feb of '78 (9 mos later) my daughter was born I always blamed the dentist.....maybe it was the drugs I pray you get some sleep & comfort tonight. If it's really hurting, try some ice on that side. It can't hurt.

| I work for an oral surg. brenda. Make sure to rinse out after you eat to help keep the food from getting trapped. If it does get traped you will get an infection and have to have more surgery. Use that syringe he gave you as well. Those huge holes aren't so big but that is where your tooth was. The tissue will close over in about 14 days or so. You can eat!!! Just stay away from things that can trapped easily like popcorn or pretizels. Send me a pm if you have questions!! I've been doing this work since 96 so I know what i'm talking about!!

| Brenda, so sorry to hear you are in pain. I had all four of my wisdom teeth out a few years ago. I too got a dry socket. I was constantly on pain meds and I had to make sure to use the syringe to flush it out everytime right after I ate and yes it did hurt really bad. It was not fun to deal with, boy am I glad that is over!! Hope you get to feeling better soon!!
