Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Dell Laptop Catches fire... Ok I know for all you Dell Laptop users you recently heard about the battery recall. Supposedly that issue was settled and taken care of. I just read this yesterday about a guy with a Laptop fire that had nothing to do with that battery recall. So if you do happen to have a Dell Laptop please be careful. Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I think to some extent most laptops get a bit warm but the Dells were having a big problem with the battery pack getting so hot it could burn you while on your lap and of course some fires had started on their batteries. Just be careful.

| I have a dell laptop, almost 2 years now... its been fine thank god! The battery was not one of the recalled ones. It gets warm, but never too hot! I feel lucky on this one! and I leave it on ALL the time and it sits on my couch cushion all day while Im at work and my boys are home! I think Im going to shut it off from now on when Im not home! I had no idea how dangerous it could be!!!
