I have a dell laptop, almost 2 years now... its been fine thank god! The battery was not one of the recalled ones. It gets warm, but never too hot! I feel lucky on this one! and I leave it on ALL the time and it sits on my couch cushion all day while Im at work and my boys are home! I think Im going to shut it off from now on when Im not home! I had no idea how dangerous it could be!!!
