| Update on my mom.... As some of you know my mom got a call last week that she had an abnormal mammogram. Well she went in to have them redo it and they found 3 spots on her breast. One they said they weren't worried about but 2 concerned them. She just has a real negative outlook on life now because she thinks the world is just beating up on her. I wish I had some encouraging words for her. I am pretty religious and I am trying to think of some scripture to read to her but I don't think she is up to hearing it. She is just keepin to herself. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, she really needs them. She is an extremely strong person and I know she has the strength to pull through it all.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I will definatley keep her in my prayers. So many of these spots that they are worried about still turn out to be nothing. All you can do is be there when she wants you to. SHe may just need alone time to deal with it.

| I'll be praying for your Mom. Keep the faith - If HE leads you to it, HE'll lead you thru it. That has seen me through the darkest hours of my life.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Thoughts and prayers for you and your mom. It's so hard when THEY are sick. Sure seems like the parental role gets reversed, doesn't it? Hang in there. They aren't always sure of what they see, and even when it is something, there is so much they can do today that they couldn't even five years ago. |

My grandma hasn't been sick at all, but she also hasn't started her treatments. They are going to do something involving making an antibiotic so she is on a list waiting for that. It's suppose to make you not so sick I guess. She is starting to lose some weight, but that might just be from stress. My grandma is the type she likes to doctor herself. So for 30 some years she said she took over the counter meds when she got sick and took vitamins. I guess she has felt them all over, lymph nodes, breast, and down near her personal area. The family knew she had felt these last October but didn't tell me because I was pregnant and they didn't want that to make me upset and lose the baby. My mom didn't know either due to her other health problems. I think they may have caught my moms early. It just worries them because last years mammogram had no spots or anything and this year had 3. My mom has a lot of illness on top of this. Heart problems, diabetic, neurothopy, possibly lupus. She often jokes and says all she has left is her hearing. So when we try to make her laugh we say at least your hearing is still good then she will reply with a big HUH? LOL Last night at like 1 in the morning we went to get a drink and apple pie at McDonalds so I was glad to see her get some fresh air. My mom is my ultimate best friend! I'd be lost without her. Even as a teenager I'd much rather be with mom than run the streets. My friends were nothing like me and my mom was ALWAYS there for me. Now it's my turn to be there for her.

| same here im really close to my mom, im pregnant now with a little boy. and i got so upset last night i started getting sick which i have never been that upset before. my mom was having problems under her arms for a while this spring and summer and they were telling her it was blocked sweat glands and then they did mamogram and called her right back to do another and then told my mom and dad on Wed that it was cancer the size of a nickel. when she was telling me i thought about that movie Terms of Enderments where debra winger fine the lumps under the arm and it was cancer and she just never expected. Mom Told us that another lady had her mamagrams the year before and they missed it or no one said anything and when she came back she had it all over just a year later. Mom was joking last year she needed to change careers because everyone there was dying from cancer...now she has it i think i just keep thinking the worse Its very scary, im really upset and teary i think im overreacting but just the thought of this is bringing tears to my eyes, maybe its the pregnancy contributing. |

| You might want to write this one down for her: Isaiah 58:8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. Hope it helps
