| Black Widow Spider?! Okay, so I know this (below) is what a black widow looks like.... The red "hour glass" shape in on the underside (belly). Well, I found this spider today by the pool (well the kids found it)....here is the underside, like a normal black widow.......BUT DSCN1669.JPG Here is the back of it.....it has red designs on the top back too.....not just the hour glass underneath........ DSCN1665.JPG Isn't that odd?? I thought black widows were just glossy black until you seen their underside with the red hour glass shape? I found another one a few weeks ago while walking.....I tried to capture it, but didn't have anything that I felt comfortable with carrying it in. It was just like this one above, but it had white markings along with the red ones on it's upper back........CRAZY!!! Do I have some sort of mutant spiders??? Ha,Ha

| Jenn, I sure hope it is not the redback spider, it is very deadly. But apparently is from Australia, but who knows? I wouldn't mess with it! Is this what it looks like? (Find red back spider down the page a ways then click on it to make it really big.) http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...&ct=image&cd=3
