Recipe for stuffed onions

thanks for the recipes ladies I made them last night and hubby loved them!
i used sausage burger, they were yummy!

I tried making a couple on Sunday but failed failed failed. I think I parboiled the onions for too long and one of them split open when I tried to stuff it. Then I didn't cut up the onions that were in the stuffing small enough. Oh well if at first you don't succeed.....

I would try NOT parboiling the onions; just scoop out most of the insides and chop what you scoop out, and saute that and then stuff whatever you're putting into the onion and then put it in the oven in a baking dish, maybe with a LITTLE water in the bottom, and cook til it's done.

I must be on an onion kick or something. I tried to make French Onion Soup and it turned out yucky too. Do you have a recipe for that as well?

Yes...and it's posted in the YT cookbook if you go there and look under my name. It's excellent and I've made it a LOT of times. I don't do the bread and cheese on top, but I did once and it was good too; just too much fat and calories imo.
