Canon SD750

does anyone have this camera? someone is offering it 2 me for only $80 but it only comes with a usb cord. what else does this camera come with? and can it be charged or is it just regular batteries?

I bet the canon web site would have lots of info on it...Id check there. I have the Rebel XT and go to the site lots to figure all the stuff out! Hope that helps

At the end of this site it has a place where you can contact them. I'd be asking them questions.
When a camera cost anywhere from $275.00 and up, depending on where you buy it (shop around) and someone wanted to sell it for $80.00, a big red flag would go up as far as I was concerned, especially since they could sell it for more. I would ask the seller if I could take the camera down to Circuit City to have it checked out first. I have a feeling something is seriously wrong with that camera. Good luck.

I just bought the A560 from Circuit City. It came with 2 manuals, the USB cable, a TV cable, the ZoomBrowser software, of course a warranty, and a media card. I paid about $220 for the camera and got a mini photo printer (cheaply made) for $50 because I bought them together - there's a rebate involved.

The 750 is a better camera, and you really only need the software, the media card and the manuals. If you know where to get those, I'd go for it if they give you some kind of warranty, even if it's just to use it, download the pictures and make sure it works.

The Canon is fantastic. I knew nothing about what to buy, asked a lot of people - on here and elsewhere, and I love it!

I do not know about this camera in particular, but most new cameras come with the manual, software (so you can transfer pictures to the PC), battery charger (don't get a camera that uses "AA" batteries, they eat the batteries) strap, memory card (that can be costly) and USB cord.

Try eBay and see what they are selling for there and what is included.

You likely don't even need the software if you have Windows XP or higher. Otherwise, you can probably download it from their website.
