				   | I had blood test on Wednesday and my HCG was 257 and today it is 137. The doctor's office is closed so will have to talk to them tomorrow. I don't think it is going to stick since it is supposed to increase. We have been trying for several years and even done everything we could with infertility specialist. If it does not work out this time, at least I know there is some chance I could get pregnant. We were hoping to be able to tell people that we are pregnant tonight. At least I have my yorkies

Believe me I know how frustrated you are. It took me almost five years to get pregnant the first time. If you want to chat you can pm me. Hugs.

				   | Oh I am so sorry. The very same thing happened to me. I would suggest a sonogram to make sure you are still pregnant. You are right, the HCG should be increasing. Let us know what the doctor says.

				   | I'll be praying for you. Don't stress over it, because stress is the last thing you or the baby need.

				   | UPDATE: Spoke with fertility specialist office this morning and they say looks like I am having a miscarriage. I have another blood test on Tuesday to confirm. If lower, but no less than 5, then I will have to have DNC done.

				   | I'm so sorry to hear this. I had a lot of trouble getting pregnant with my second but no miscarriages. My sister had multiple miscarriages and after having one when the baby was 5 months, she just couldn't take it anymore and her husband had a vasectomy. But she does have 3 healthy kids. I really hope things work out for you. |

				   | Oh honey, I'm so sorry. I've been there. I had 2 miscarriages before I finally had my 2 daughters. I did have to have the dnc's each time. I had to have surgery to be able to carry to term. My ob/gyn said that most insurance companies make you wait until you've had 3 miscarriages before they'll pay for a fertility specialist. I told her that's crazy, that I would pay for it myself if I had to. Could you imagine making a woman suffer through 3 miscarriages before agreeing to pay for something??? Talk about emotional torture! My insurance did cover it w/out any q's. My specialist did a test, I can't remember what it was called, hystero-something (I think it was a hysterosalpingogram) , where they shot dye into my uterus & tubes. My tubes were fine but my uterus was heart shaped instead of pear shaped & the part that was at the top that came down into the heart shape was similar to scar tissue w/out adequate blood supply and this is where the baby attaches. Long story short, I had surgery to correct this birth defect, had a hard time getting pregnant, used chlomid, got pregnant & finally had my first daughter. I'm sure since you said that you are going to a specialist that they've done all the tests, but if not you might want to check into this. I'm praying for you and I'm here for you if you ever need to talk. I hate to see anyone go through this because I know how painful it is. Sugar sends her hugs & kisses also.
