No Longer a Member | Anyone with Vista and IE7? I just bought a new computer and the wierdest thing is happening. One website will not "work" on this computer. I've already checked on two other computers in my house (they both have Windows XP and Internet Explorer 7) and it works on those, so the website is not down. Anyway, I go to usair.com and I'm trying to search for a flight. AFter putting in the airports I want to fly to and from, it just hangs and after a while I get an unable to connect. Then if I try to reload the page same thing happens. For a whole day, I just thought the website was down, then I tried on my other computers and it works fine. The only thing different is this computer has Windows Vista. Would someone who has Vista and Internet Explorer 7 try to load the www.usair.com website, put in any airports and dates, and do the search and see if it works for you. This is driving me crazy trying to figure out why it won't work on my computer. |

| Hey Misty, I do have both a computer with Vista and Windows XP, and I tried it on both and neither is working so I definitely don't think it is the Vista that's doing it. However, I did have issues once with a computer with the security settings. If you go to Tools, Internet Options, and then Security tab, and if it is at high that might not let you get to certain sites..it is REALLY particular. Other than that, I guess I'd tell you to just wait it out. My two computers are both still "working" and nothing is happening on the web page so I tend to think it's USAIR's web page. Good luck and hopefully you can get it fixed! If you need any other help, feel free to PM me...Vista isn't too bad, but some parts can be confusing

| I also have a new computer with Vista and IE7 on it and actually noticed awhile back the same deal with the us air web sight. Seeing I live in Phx that's like our hub airline and I can't get past the loading of the home page. If you figure out what the problem is please share because this also happens on a few othern sights and it's driving me crazy!

| I have both and checked with the site. I went all the way to the reservations page with no problem. Maybe it's fixed now? If not maybe check you Internet Options to make sure you can accept cookies and that your security isn't too high. Sorry I couldn't help further. |

No Longer a Member | Interesting. I did mess with all the security, virus, privacy, cookie, etc. settings with no luck. If others are getting it too, then it must be some kind of scripting error on USair's end. Maybe they have old scripts that aren't 100% compatible with some settings in Vista. Like I said, I have no problems with the computers that have Windows XP, just this one. It is strange, but I'm glad it's not just me. At least I can stop worrrying that my new 'puter is jacked up! Thanks everyone for the help! |

situation with no success. I can also get on to the sight with my son's computer so it must be something on the US AIR scripts and the version of windows we are using. It ticks me off but at least I also know it's not just me now.
