I'm curious what you thought about the writing of this book. I felt like the younger kids that would have breezed through books 1&2 might struggle with the writing in this one? Maybe I only felt that way because I tried to read it so quickly?

It's funny that you mentioned that. I was going to ask the same thing. I had to re-read alot of it through chapter 8. I just could not "keep up" with it. I did great throught the rest of it and now that I'm at chapter 28 it's the same way. It may be the way that I process the information; if there's alot happening i miss some things & have to go back. My 8 yr old grandson reads & comprehends at a 6th grade level, he helps me alot.

Hmmm...I thought I'd kept up with everything she's said would be in the book--I didn't see where she'd left any of them out.

But yes, I thought parts were extremely sad. I rarely cry at any movies or things like that, but there were parts of the book where I had to put it down and cried like a baby.

Well, I just finished..it's hard reading for class and then reading this at the same time. I must say, I am extremely happy with the way it turned out

And like most, I cried my eyes out through a lot of it! I am so sad about those who died..I wish there could be another book!!! Either way, I couldn't be happier..I loved it!

You know... I feel SOOO bad for Snape... Seriously, the poor man, to love Lilly so much but to depise Harry because of James! I loved reading the first two memories from him when he was friends with Lilly before going to Hogwarts... so cute and such a different image of him...

My heart skipped a beat at the bit where Ron and Hermione dropped the teeth and kissed... it's been SO long waited for!

I think the bit where Harry meets Dumbledore was too strange, it explained everything and cleared all the unanswered questions up but it just... I dunno, just didn't seem to fit in quiet right.

Personally I thought she covered everything very well. And it ended the way I was hoping for so I am happy. I liked Mrs. Weasley's Wording at the end also. I also did a lot of crying in this one near the end. But over all I loved the book. The better not cut a lot of it when they make the movie or I for one will be very disappointed.

Someone told me that they heard that they weren't going to make the last 2 movies because the cast didn't want to return. I don't know if it's true or not but unless they film them right now back to back like they did pirates i'm not sure how they'll pull it off with the kids growing up in real life like they are. ??? I'm curious what will come of it. It would be nice to complete the series but I agree they need to not cut it off like the last movie.
