| ipod help PLEASE ok so i'm JUST getting used to my mac finally, i've downloaded about 10 songs from itunes and have uploaded about 3 cds. so i made a playlist with both cd songs and itune songs and when i try and put them on my ipod, it skips over the ones i bought and will only play the ones from my cd.. HELP PLEASE!! i'm so frusterated with this thing!!! |

| When you are on itunes, make sure you have checked all the songs you want to transfer to the ipod. At the top there are tabs like summary/music/podcast/contact. go to the music tab and make sure sync all songs is checked. Hope this helps.

No Longer a Member | Try deleting the playlist and re-creating it. You can also try building the playlist through the ipod itself rather than through itunes. YOu also may need to check and see if you need to update your itunes software and/or the software in the ipod itself. |

| thanks, however, the song is on the ipod, under purchased, but i had included it in my playlist and when the songs comes up on my playlist it just skips it |

| Save all of your purchased songs to a separate place on your hard drive, or better yet, back them up on a CD. Then, copy them from the CD to the IPOD. This usually works. You can use ITunes to do the copying or just use My Computer and copy the contents of the folders from the CD to the IPOD

| Will the song play on the ipod from the purchased list? Just not from the playlist?Or from neither

| this happened to me too, make sure your ipod has authorization to play purchased songs from itunes. |

| i am 99% sure that what i did was register... lol.... however when i pluged it in it DID ask me to update things which i did not do... so when i get home from work i'll plug it back in and try again |

| I never had any problems. My iPod plays music from my CDs and from my iTunes. All of my suggestions have already been listed so I'm not sure what else you can do but good luck.
