That's what I thought. This poor precious baby was SCREAMING in AGONY and they had the nerve to LAUGH? I swear to god if I caught them I'd give them something to laugh about!! I hope those witches get what they deserve!

What sick little (I can't say the word here, I don't wanna get banned!) I can't believe anyone would do this, and to laugh about it? I hope they get the worst punishment possible for this!

when adults and children are allowed to do evil and are given just warnings... (3 and your out type of deals) , nothing will even change them. they don't deserve probations.... they deserve more harsh punishments. what ever happened to an 'eye for an eye'?

They should make these girls see how badly they hurt this kitten and they should make them pay all of the vet bill for it. I can't belive how cruel people can be.

There is something terribly wrong with these girls. I remember reading that when kids and adults do this sort of things to innocent animals, they only progress into doing these things to other humans! These girls should get a very severe punishment and PAY for the vet bills!

This is the kind of story I hate to read as I will have that poor little kitty in my mind for a long time. The girls who did this are sick sick sick! They should be punished and should also have to work to pay the vet bills for this poor little kitten. The work they have to do to earn the money to pay the vet bills should also be related to their crime. They should also spend at least a few days in jail - locked up - and I don't care how old they are. Mandatory counseling should also be required for a long time. These girls need to see the error of their ways. Many young people who end up becoming homicidal started out by being cruel to animals. This is no laughing matter!! My heart goes out to that poor kitten but I am glad there are good people in this world who would work to save it because in truth they may never get paid in $$ but I bet they sleep well at night.

We have not seen any thing in the papers about the parents. calling for help for there children....I cant even think about how it would feel to find out your kids did this.

This is horrendous and an outrage! Those girls need to be punished for their actions!!!

Something like this happened in my hometown almost 20 years ago...a group of kids set a kitty on fire during a 4th of July celebration. No charges were filed but the cat was put to sleep on the spot. They saved it's collar and kept it at the reclaim center I volunteered my time at. It was horrible to see the melted collar.
