Do something NICE for a YTer!
 

Alright guys, I'm tired of seeing us doing bad things to each other. Lets do something NICE for each other. PM someone, call them on the phone, start a thread, or even find a thread with 0 posts and reply. Be creative! Do something nice or SAY something nice and post it here! I hope this works!
Then if someone did something nice for you, do something nice for 3 other people, YT or not. Write a friendship card (or e-card), use blingee to decorate someone's pics as a gift, or even make an avatar. Use this as a journal of what you did and if it made that person's day :)

What a great idea! You could cut the tension here with a knife right? So lets fix that! Take the time to play nice everybody!

Excellent Idea- Pay it forward.
I have really been worried lately this site was going to collapes. I found this group while looking for a yorkie and out of 14 websites I had saved to research on, you guys knocked that number to 5 good breeders. Boy was I on the wrong road.
Needless to say I stayed and will stay.
When I first came the names that stuck in my mind were Steadmans Mom and The Spy Girls. My hubby asked me all about it and I was telling him and they have names like stedmans mom and the spy girls. He laughed and has been a little part ever since asking about Patticake and Gwens trip.
Come on ladies we are bigger than these people that need to get a life. I had to post to Nodak that he came to the wrong place to start a fight and he found out. I do love to see you ladies come out the shoot and attack but these insults from beyond are getting very very wrong.I am so worried about Steadmans mom, I dont know her but Have PM V and Amber and a few others an have good things to say and remember from their nice emails. V is a god sent to this site. There is nothing she wont do for you.

I've been thinking the last day or two that maybe I don't need this much drama in my life. I haven't been on YT long -- about five months -- and I'm certainly no expert, so it's not like I have a lot of info to share. I just try to do the best I can by my boy because I love him SO much.:) ) But you know, I'LL BE DAMNED -- pardon my French -- if I'm going to be run off by some jealous, small-minded heartless idiots!

Ok. First you were all nice to reply to this thread :) I got a wonderful pm from simplyyorkies that made me feel good, so thank you!

My nice things on YT:
-I found some 0 reply threads and replied.
-I found an excerpt for a YTer that I hope helped them
-I found a breeder for someone who requested some help.

More to come! I think it would be awesome if we were able to tie in some yorkie stuff. Like if anyone has any outfits their yorkie has grown out of or never fit into.

I have yorkie book I've read through and I'd like to give someone. I'd like to give it to a new member with less than 100 posts. Whoever can reply to this thread first and PMs me their address gets it via media mail.

Okay, to get the ball rolling some more, I also have an item to give to someone. If you have less than 100 posts and would like it, please reply to this thread, and I'll pm the first one who replies.

I have an XXS Dickens Closet boys polo shirt that is medium green with cream trim. (This items weighs almost nothing, so I have no problem mailing it.) It is very gently used and hand washed. Gizmo only wore it for a minute or so. It's really just too small for him.) So if your little boy yorkie has a chest measurement of 9 inches or less and is a little preppy, just post to this thread and say you would like it.

I always intentionally look for threads that hardly anyone responded to and respond to them even if I have to go back several pages to find them. I know how it feels to say something and have no one respond to it like you werent even there and it hurts. I have never pm'd anyone jsut to say something nice but that sounds like a great idea. I have had several people here I didnt even know do that to me and it made my day. Good idea ladies. Lets go do some random acts of kindness today!!!!!!!!

i've been trying really hard to look for posts that don't have many responses... i hate when no one responds to what i say and i've noticed that osmetimes if i respond, others follow suit. must be kinda like bumping it up... trying to find what else good i can do today :)

This is a great idea. I Do this all the time. I hope others do too. But I will step it up a notch and do a little more. I think it is the only thing to do.
I am always here to help out. If you need a Yorkie train or what ever I will help as much as possible I may not be able to drive it but I will try to find a reliable person who can.

I donated an additional $25 to YT, and am trying to post to all threads with no responses. This is a great site and we need to keep it that way!!!

I posted a personal story in a thread in response to a yt member worried about their marriage. I gave them some suggestions to help spend quality time with their spouse.

I got a wonderful pm from LuvMySissy and I replied to her in a like manner.

I think this was a great suggestion!

I just got some new bow supplies today...the first person to reply to this thread after me gets a free bow!!!

What a wonderful idea I am so glad that you are trying to bring the positive back to YT. You are obviously a kind and thoughtful person.

Pay it forward is one of my favorite movies and I try to live by it but we all get overwhelmed sometimes and forget how much it means when you pay it forward. Not only does it make you feel good but it makes the person you pay it forward to feel good. Thank you for reminding me.

Again thank you for this thread and I will be working on my pay it forward right now.
