That is sooooooo sweet of you all to do! I'm so glad that you guys were in line. I'm so shocked that they do that to an elderly lady. With the rising prices of gas I don't know how people on a fixed income can do it.

Oh Wow! I just found this thread. What a wonderful way to conduct your life. My parents taught me to always do these kinds of things. For us it's a way of life. I'm so glad someone thought of this and posted it here. What a nicer place the world is when we are kind to others instead of spiteful and angry..

I've had YTrs do several kind and thoughtful things for me recently. I've thanked them and passed the joy on.

Yesterday, I helped pay the moving expenses of a friend moving out of state. It helped us both have a better day.:)

I too, sent peanuts to Willow.... they are VERY inexpensive down here cuz they are just a staple, everyone eats them.. YUM!

Great idea! I pm'd a YT"R earlier today who needs some help and am waiting for her address so I can send her 20.00 on the 3rd of august to help her out, also waiting to heaR FROM ANOTHER yt PAL TO SEND SOME $$ FOR lILY'S(rip HONEY)stone!

I'm just a new member and totally loving this site - maybe a good thing I didn't read any of the negativity - but since my joining this weekend I have found nothing but wonderful people on this site with so much to offer regarding their Yorkies. I have seen such kindness and willingness to share info at all levels. I for one am not leaving this site nor will I let the ignorance of others ruin it for all. I am by no means an expert on doggie raising but try to help out others from what I have learned and from my mistakes. Yeah - I just answered some posts and making new friends.

K - I'm sure some of you are sick of me saying this from other threads.....we can't WAIT until the next GE....:yorkietal :hug:

Oh - and can't wait until 8/25 for the Ohio meet up at Dover Park.:cheer:

I haven't been a member here very long myself, but I DID witness some of the negative posts. HOWEVER - the good and positive people on here far outweigh the bad ones.

I LOVE this thread! I've come back to read it several times. It just makes me feel better knowing how many good people with kind hearts there are.

Wow, that young couple will never forget the kindness of a downpayment! We just bought our house last week. It costs so much money, we had to save up over 5 years. I'm glad that young couple doesn't have to worry about it.

That is one reason we did it. We struggled very hard to buy our first house. I firmly believe that what a person gives comes back tenfold. Perhaps not in the way you would expect though. We had to give our gift in two seperate checks, one from me ,one from my husband, otherwise it would have been taxed! The couple is very happy and stunned at the unexpected assist. DH and I are very happy. A very good feeling.

It is wonderful what you did and that you are in a position to be able to do it! I am sure the couple will be forever grateful!

I kept Diego's yorkies at my home during his hospitalization . I am very proud of his work with the needy little ones .

quite a while ago, StephluvsAngel6 did a "pay it forward" and I want to mention it here ...

She was trying to sell a leather checkbook cover. I offered to buy it ... she sent it to me and did NOT accept the money ...

I never forget a good deed. I am just waiting for a good moment to show my gratitude ...

When I was new to YT, Mitzis Mom made an avatar for me when I asked her how she got the picture on there ... I NEVER forgot that either and we have become good buddies. In fact our babies are touring Europe together this month ... (cyberspace wise, of course)

I am not going to tell of what I have done to "pay it forward" here on YT, that is not necessary. The people whom I have helped already know it.

Ever since I realized how precious life is --- (after I buried my first child, my parents and 2 husbands - all the loves of my life) -- I decided it was best to do things to make people smile while they are around.

So I started sending presents and gifts to those I love NOW, not waiting to send flowers to their funerals.

Yes, I have been a critic of certain things on here, but sometimes the truth can hurt. But I have always been truthful.

There are so many nice people here .... some are "silent" givers, so do not discount when is not overtly apparent.
