My 3rd good deed is......Yesterday i went to get my haircut and decided i wanted to do something that i have never done before and have alwayz wanted to do is donate my hair to "Locks of Love" :thumbup: i knew that by me donated my hair it will be helping someone who was in need & they would greatly appreciate as well. i knoe that they have been through alot in their life alreadie....so i totallie understand that their self esteem a bit lower when they start losing their hair...:( they deserve some goodness in their life. :thumbup: :thumbup: i'm planning on letting my hair grow out again in 6 mths i will donate again !! :thumbup: :thumbup:

Hey girl! That is a very good deed and good for you! :thumbup: I'm sure whoever gets your hair will be very happy. I really was planning to donate mine like I told you but my grandma stole it :eek: :rolleyes: I recently cut my hair again though and I still have the hair in a ponytail so I am going to send it to locks of love also :) That will be my 1st good deed for the week coming up

You've done some wonderful good deeds! I know the child who will get your beautiful hair will be so happy. I have donated to them in the past, but I can't seem to stay away from hair color. Your hair looks great and I'm sure it feels much better in the heat of the summer.

I think that's great. We can not let those attention seeking people RUIN such a great online community! Let's not let them win by running people out or giving them the attention they crave.

I'm glad you reply to 0 threads too! I at least let people know that I read them, even though I don't know the answer. I too know how it feels not to have any people reply. It makes you feel like you're not cared about. But we're going to change all of that and the kind people on YT are going to outnumber the crazy people!

it is really cute but Kodi is 6 pounds I don't think it would fit :) but I think some one else hais ............drum roll please............Mz_s3ski_Kitt3n It looks like it would fit hers :)

I had some YT'ers send some nice things to me and Mojo & Lily Grace and I have sent out things to them (hope they have gotten them or will get them soon). --some will be getting theirs alittle later! :justahug:

YES!!!! :thumbup: :thumbup: they are REALLY peanuts that are boiled and they are salty and if you are REALLY lucky you get a really squishy one that you can suck the juices right out of before you take the shell off!!!

Hmmm sounds like I may have to get some to try. I love peanuts!! Next question is would Trader Joe's sell them?? Or where , how do I get some to try???

LOLOL I was having the same problem Chattiesmom is sending me 2 cans of them from Georgia. I can't buy them in the North:eek:

when I lived in Tennessee I used to get them for like 2 for $1 but that was years ago....they might be closer to a $1 a can now I dunno.

you now they are easy to make ;)2 cups peanuts (raw and in the shell)
4 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
-- Place the raw peanuts, still in their shells, into a saucepan.

-- Add the water and salt, then bring to a rolling boil.

-- Reduce the heat to a good simmer and cook peanuts approximately 25 minutes.

-- Preparation time will vary slightly depending upon the size and freshness of the peanuts.

-- When done, the peanut kernels should have swollen to fill the pod well and the taste of raw starch will have been dissipated.

-- The peanut will remain slightly soft and chewy.

-- Serve hot still in the shell, or cold after draining.

-- Pour yourself a cold beer and get slippery!
