I'm so sorry. I went through this with my second husband. I think it was one of the hardest things I've ever done,

We did go to marriage counseling after I left him for a year. We went for about 2 years and we tried our best, but in the end we did get divorced.

I wanted out, he didn't. I have no regrets, I'll always love him, and have never been happier.

Something I learned from one of my ex's is that you can love someone, but sometimes it is best not be together. I will never regret that relationship though. I learned so much and it helped me figure out what I did and did not want in a relationship. But I will say that it lasted much longer than it should have because I wasn't happy.
Whatever happens please know that no matter what, your happiness DOES matter.

Im still young and not married but from what I have seen in my parents relationship please just make sure its the right thing to do

.. my parents have been together since they were 15 now theyre both 46 they got divorced 2 years ago after having some troubles after being apart for 6 months tey relealized it was the wrong thing to do theyre together again for alomst a year and a half now... goodluck I hope everything works out! listen to youre heart

I'm so sorry you are going through this... I too have been married 5 yrs and 1 mth and yes I will be the first to admit we have highs and lows but when its good its real good and it makes all of those lows non existant... i hope you find a way to be happy again.. with or without him.. we are here if you ever need to talk... rememeber what doesnt break us only makes us stronger!

Although, I have never been divorced, I have friends that have been and most of them have told me that if they had to do it over again, they would have tried to work it out. All marriages go through times of discomfort and doubt.

Forgot to add that on the 2lst of July, I will have been married to the same man for 40 years and am glad that we didn't give up on each other somewhere along the way. There were many times when it would have been easy to do. Blessings to you both

I ones read about Billy Graham wife said that she never thought of divorce him ones just to kill him

I think that is to funny, we all go up and down in our marriage I don't know if you heard of Joyce Meyer I will recommend her books or cds or videos regarding this issue honey, I will be praying for you
