Not necessary, I don't think there was any harm meant so, I took care of it myself. Although, I do know that the same message was PM'd to several other members.

Man, I have really missed some stuff lately, I don't know whats going on here anymore, I knew about people calling the breeders, but now people are getting pm's, if someone would like to educate me on whats going on I would like to know...But I can not believe someone or more than one are picking on my YT family...what is wrong with you people...YT is a place to talk, learn and have some of the greatest people as friends...I am really upset about this...Get a life and leave my friends(family) alone....I am being very serious when I say this when we found Peanut Monday lifeless, my first thought was vet and the second one was ask or tell me YT family for help..there are some jerks on here but mostly good people that really love animals...This is a great place and with the stuff thats going on...if you are that person I will pray for you a heart or for you to get smart and leave

I think it's time to NAME NAMES..... If there are individual(s) sending inappropriate pm's then EVERYONE here should know who that person(s) is/are so that we can be aware of their public posts as well. I have not received anything inappropriate or unwanted..... only GREAT STUF from my beloved family!

Yes, I too, wondered if "he whose name cannot be spoken" was behind this. He did make reference one time to working on computers and he can obviously change info around enough to have registered on the site multiple times after being banned ...

It's sad that we can't just have a Web site and talk to each other and not get all this crap in between. Unfortunately, it's reflective of the world at large and we won't be able to keep all of it out, paid membership or not.

Others have posted lots of good advice about keeping ourselves safe. We'll just have to be a lot more vigilant ...

I know paying or not paying, there will always be opinions from one that the other doesn't like.....this is not what I am talking about.

I am talking about people stealing information, scammers, sending PM's wanting information and the like......you know when something is not right....you just get that gut feeling. I normally never give out personal information, so yes having internet smarts is a must......I just think that lately there have been too much happening...too much bad things that are happening, personal things...etc. There has to be a way to stop this.

Okay, I hope I cleared up anything that might have been misunderstood.

when I posted back at the beginning of this thread I wasn't meaning your idea was a bad one - cause it wasn't, BUT - if YT went to donation only - it would change...There's so many that come here with 'New Yorkie Owner' questions or maybe a sick dog and end up sticking around... they would never have had that chance if it was donation only - and if it was donation only - I'd have never had the chance to meet so many of you -

We just have to take the good with the bad. There's always going to be spooky people out there but thankfully most people aren't.

I know people are really upset but if everyone calmed down and just kept posting like usual - these people wouldn't get the thrill they seem to strive for - just keep enjoying the site.

Don't let these jerks take away your form of entertainment or whatever reasons you're here. These people aren't worth stressing out about. They're out there and always will be - just don't let them rent space in your head.

I've never understood why people don't share where they buy their yorkies. Everyone tells you to be careful when buying one but they act like it's "top secret" information where they got theirs. I think you should use common sense with regards to personal information on the internet but it's helpful to let people know where they can be safe when purchasing. Most of the time you only see where NOT to buy from.

I've had people PM me, unfortunately my girl came from a one time breeding so I wasn't able to be very helpful but I share that information with whoever asks me. I love when someone introduces their new yorkie and actually *gasp* names the website! It's refreshingly wonderful so I don't have to be a detective and try to figure it out.

With the amount of members there's bound to be a handful of unfortunate incidents but more often than not, it's compliments people PM you or post.

Personally, there is no way in Hades I would put my breeders' info up on this or any other site...especially after the crap that has gone on lately! No way Jose! I have seen the names of good breeders dragged through the mud before all because someone had personal issues with them. I would hate to feel responsible for that happening to any of the breeders I've worked with because someone got upset with me for something or had nothing better to do than stir up trouble.
I love YT, but this is still the internet. I wouldn't want MY information passed around like that.
That is just my opinion and view on the situation though.

I thought it was kinda weird but didn't think much of it.

i think we all got the same post. it was not weird at all considering the person that sent it. i could have cared less and just said, I'm sorry you have not been well. i get pm's asking about my dogs all the time also. i try to answer the best i can. yes, some of them have really gotten on my nerves but after two or three pm's it usually stops. short, brisk answers I think gets my point across.

i just wonder if this person is the one that signed my guestbook on my website with a long list of links to porno sites. i have never seen such filth. thank goodness, it was only up a few hours before a YT member informed me. so now, I can't even enjoy having a guestbook on my site.
