I just know that some forums (not dog related) that are closed to donating members, are wonderful....nothing really happens and it hasn't hurt the members numbers either.
I know paying or not paying, there will always be opinions from one that the other doesn't like.....this is not what I am talking about.
I am talking about people stealing information, scammers, sending PM's wanting information and the like......you know when something is not right....you just get that gut feeling. I normally never give out personal information, so yes having internet smarts is a must......I just think that lately there have been too much happening...too much bad things that are happening, personal things...etc. There has to be a way to stop this.
Okay, I hope I cleared up anything that might have been misunderstood.

when I posted back at the beginning of this thread I wasn't meaning your idea was a bad one - cause it wasn't, BUT - if YT went to donation only - it would change...There's so many that come here with 'New Yorkie Owner' questions or maybe a sick dog and end up sticking around... they would never have had that chance if it was donation only - and if it was donation only -

We just have to take the good with the bad. There's always going to be spooky people out there but thankfully
most people aren't.
I know people are really upset but if everyone calmed down and just kept posting like usual - these people wouldn't get the thrill they seem to strive for - just keep enjoying the site.
Don't let these jerks take away your form of entertainment or whatever reasons you're here. These people aren't worth stressing out about. They're out there and always will be - just don't let them rent space in your head.
