my Dad used to breed German Shepards (which are bigger then Pittbulls) and let me tell ya, their penies could easily hurt a 2 yr old child... but I still don't get the "tie" part described by the parents where the child was dragged by the dog... Just makes no sense to me...

Isn't what causes a tie in dogs, though, something about the penis that gets extremely swollen at one place--it swells up to the point that it cannot be easily withdrawn? I think then, any tight orifice would be able to be put into the situation of a tie...

It is just horrible to consider...

Misty, You are correct. The female holds the male in place and can cause great damage to the stud if she moves incorrectly or drags him.

I, still, find it hard to believe... sorry...

I know a "tie" happens because the penis gets swollen, BUT a child's rectum is anatomically different of a bitch's vagina (sorry if I'm getting too graphic)... AND a "tie" doesn't happen that fast anyway...

I'm just having a hard time to understand this story... so sad...

okay thanks for answering my questions lol but i have another one

does a dogs penis get as hard as a humans???? i mean even a male person would have to have help putting in his actual penis and theirs get really hard because a butt is super tight. so im not understanding

but i have seen skoshis when he is excided and i dont know exactly how theirs are i have only seen his because it peek a booed at me. but it just looks like it would work totally different.

I never saw this on the news and Its very sad, that poor boy, It make me sick at my stomach, I think some thing like this could happen, and I also think the parents let the boy run around naked. Dogs hump and will hump any thing around, I can see that he could of been humping the boy and it slipped in and locked. But being a boy that young, where was the parents. Its not the dogs fault, they dont have the mind to know what they are doing , not some thing like that. But the parents should of been right there and stopped it before it even happened.

That is bizarre. Quite franlky I agree with most other posts, maybe it was SOMEONE who did that to him and trying to balme the dog. I've never even heard of such a thing, less knew it was possible. unbelievable....

Basically what happens is the rectum "falls out" (or in this case is pulled out). And it becomes inside out.

Same thing can happen with the bladder and uterus. Well, a lot of internal structures really, but those are the most common.
