It's way too heavy on it's own but I mix it 50/50 with body lotion and use it on my legs when I'm wearing shorts, dresses or skirts. It gives my legs a little sheen and makes my tan pop. Another of my drugstore loves is L'Oreal Voluminous mascara. I've tried most of the higher end brands but always end up back with Voluminous. I haven't tried DiorShow though and I keep hearing really things about it so that could change.

Okay, time to share- what are your can't live without drugstore items?

I'll have to try the Neutrogena Oil.. it sounds good! I use Bobbi Brown Beach things during the summer because I just adore that beachy smell .

And you have GOT to try Dior Show!! I started using it about 4 years ago and just can't go back to anything else.. it is soooo amazing!

Okay, that's all I needed to hear- The Dior Show will be mine! I odered the Bobby Brown Beach when it first came out without smelling it first- I just loved the description. When I got it I thought, yeah I love the scent but I loved it more when it was my cheapo Neutrogena.

All this talk about mascara has me thinking lip gloss... Think I need to go start a lip gloss thread!

I cannot live without sephora or ulta! I do makeup so Ive tried alot of brands but the best mascara I have come across is bojouis I just love it!...u should try it!! But I cannot live without my palmers lotion

I love the new Jergans skin smoothing lotion....LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I will put it on after a shower and the next time I take a shower I can still feel it on my skin, but it doesn't make me oily. It is great!

Thanks for that tip! Living in the desert, and always wearing flipflops (actually, I've ALWAYS worn them) has really made my feet incredibly DRY! I had a bunch of pairs of white athletic socks (running socks) and I cut the toe out of them so that my toes aren't covered and wear them to bed after putting Bag Balm or Vaseline on them, but I'm going to try the Gold Bond instead. I hate the smell of Bag Balm anyhow. I don't use these socks for anything else other than during the winter when it's cold and I am giving myself a pedicure, LOL! They do get kind of gross looking, but I don't wear them when anyone else is around.

I love the Voluminous mascara too. I just wish it had the same brush as the Maybelline Great lash. I can't wear most mascaras b/c they make my eyes itch, and I think the Voluminous does the best job all around! I like the fact that it doesn't clump your lashes all together....their "Volume Shocking" is bad for that....the one with the two steps....too much work anyway, LOL.

I've tried the DiorShow mascara, and yes, it's very good at lengthening, in fact, I'd say it's as good as the Voluminous, but I don't think that it's THAT much better for the price difference.

I cannot live without johnson's baby lotion! After a shower/leg shave

instead of 12.00 eye make up remover - Aveeno baby shampoo
You can use it on your eyes because it is ""no tears"" Aveeno isnt as drying as regular johnsons baby shampoo.


I dont even have a baby...she's 13. I just like baby products because they are mild.

I also use the aveeno baby shampoo to wash Zoey's head during a bath and her body with minksheen.

Loreal Bare Naturale mineral powders is awesome!!!! It is a lot better than bare minerals. The coverage is great! You will love it!

Oh I love the idea to cut the toes off! I hate sleeping in socks but without the toes they wouldn't feel so constricting. And of course there's the sex appeal, lol! Oh well, better than ugly dry feet!

ROFL...yes, there IS THAT . But my dh is gone most of the week, so I can get away with it most of the time. It really works. I hate wearing socks to bed too, partly b/c it feels restrictive and partly b/c my feet get too hot, but with the toes cut out, it really is so much better. Plus, if you want to get them off during the night (I try not to, b/c I'm afraid the cream or whatever will stain the sheets, which it has done before....not sure if it's ANY cream or if it was the Bag Balm or the Vaseline b/c of it's greasiness) they're easily shed! And they're great like I said during the cold weather and your feet are cold but your toenail polish is wet! No fuss, no muss!

I'm an avid Bare minerals user. Tell me why the Loreal Bare Naturale is better. I would love to find something better and cheaper too. Is it way cheaper?

It is way cheaper and you get alot more powder, but it is only one shade. My sister and my mother also like it better. The coverage is better and it doesn't look so powdery, it blends better and doesn't just sit on your face. I have all the Bare Minerals and accessories but I only use the Loreal. It did take a couple tries to find the right color for me, but I just took it back to Rite Aid and exchanged it.

I went out yesterday and bought the Loreal. I just couldn't wait. I can tell I'm going to like the coverage. But like you said, the color I got was waay wrong. I don't have a Rite Aid. I got it at Walgreens. Do you have those there? It was on sale for $9.99 this week. I hope they will take it back. It may take several tries to get the color right. This was too light and looked to yellowish.
