It is way cheaper and you get alot more powder, but it is only one shade. My sister and my mother also like it better. The coverage is better and it doesn't look so powdery, it blends better and doesn't just sit on your face. I have all the Bare Minerals and accessories but I only use the Loreal. It did take a couple tries to find the right color for me, but I just took it back to Rite Aid and exchanged it.
