| I use a CHI straightener and CHI products (keratin mist, straight guard, and iron guard) and love it. I wouldn't want to do the permanent straight because I like to wear mine curly/wavy sometimes. If you want it straight all the time that would be a good way to go. I've also heard good things about the CHI permanent straight treatment.

I get soo mad at my hubby sometimes... He will wash his hair and not even comb it sometimes and it still looks NICE! Heck I would KILL for hair like that! Here I am spending HRS on my hair to straighten it or at lest 15 min to get it all in a pony tail, after my shower.

250 is not bad!! Some places I have seen online back home in tx charge 100 a hr (which is not too bad) but they put pic online and tell you this took so many hrs... well one I looked at.. this girl had hair about the same length as mine(shoulder length) that cost 400 and then there was a girl who had hair down to the middle of her back (that was really wild... worse then the girl with shorter hair) that cost 400. So its like the lady who did it...took her time on the girl with shorter hair to get more money out of her... I dont have a hair dresser back home.. Not scent my wedding back in 04 when mine made me mad ON my wedding day! So I need to find one that dose it...that is GOOD! and wont try to over charge me....

| Wow $250 is awesome! I used to work at a salon (as an esthetician) and they did the Chi method starting at $500. It really does make a dramatic difference though. My daughter just had a Matrix straightening done. It was only $150 but isn't permanent and the results weren't even close to the Chi but it did help quite a bit. She's only 12 so no $500 and up treatments for her yet.
