Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | craiglist problems Does anyone use craigslist? I have an online pal who is looking for advice on what to do to stop her business from getting flagged. She is a dog behaviorist in Alaska and has been advertising her business under the "Pets Section" because the "Services Section" doesn't have "Pets services." I'm assuming this will make sense to a regular craigslist user. She's just wondering what recourse she has to avoid getting flagged in the one area where people look for her services. Thanks in advance for any help

| I use craigslist, but I'm not sure why she's getting flagged. I know you can't sell dogs, but that's different from dog services. She might try posting under the Services in the "small biz ads" section. That's about all I can give. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.. |

| People are INSANE in Philly's pet section.. they FLAG everything. Unfortunately, because anyone can flag a post, and it has nothing to do with Craigslist's admin. taking them down, I don't think there is much she can do (Does that make sense?).

| Maybe she should try to e-mail someone who is an admin over there... Maybe she can try to explain the situation and see what their suggestions are.

| c/l trolls I LOVE craigslist, but it is infamous for trolls who have nothing better to do than to flag stuff that IS ok. The best advise I can give is for her to be as vague as possible in her ad, but to be specific in her topic. I think some people get mad if they click on a vague title like "puppies" and see that it's about grooming or something. Maybe if she posted a question asking why she's getting flagged the flaggers might tell her why they're doing it. Good luck! |

| I think people flag because they have competing businesses or have a similar post. They want people to respond to them. |
