I have a tanger outlet near by and they have a Coach Outlet. They have good deals. I am a big fan of the Dooney and Bourke purses. They are by far my favorite.

Sounds like my dad. My parents are at the opposite end of PA, about 5 1/2 hours away, so when I visit, he's always checking my car out. They don't like when I do stuff for them either. Even at Christmas time. They don't want me to spend money on them

I would NEVER suggest that you should buy an armload of purses (unless, of course they were priced fabulously

) but when I went to coach outlets, the prices were cheaper than a coach store but they weren't SO cheap that I would buy multiple bags.

OK...that makes me feel better...so I'd stick with one or two, huh? LOL. I really do need to get one of those wristlets.

I live out in PA if any of you want to describe the coach bags you want to me...I will pick them up in the outlet like 30 minutes from my house for ya'...i'll price it for ya' then let you know and you can send me the money. The couach outlet here seems to have things about 3-6 months behind new stuff...but my wristlet cost $29 rather than $68.

One of my friends loves the wristlets. She has 3 or 4 of them. I don't have any yet but after seeing hers, I'd like to get one at some point. Even though they are small, they are the perfect size to carry the little things that you'd need without the bulk of a big purse. I bought myself a Kate Spade bag for Christmas so I'm not buying any bags for a while unless something jumps out at me. I usually only splurge on 1 a year so I'm not spending all of my money on designer purses

There are a ton of outlet stores in PA (it seems). Do you go to the one in Tannersville, Lancaster, or Reading?

We are leaving for Virginia tomorrow and I will be going to an outlet mall next week. I am so excited as I have never been to one before. I was in Macy's the other day and they had a whole table of Dooney & Bourke purses for 50% off. So after coming home and thinking about it and explaining to hubby what a great deal it was I went back and bought it. Our anniversary was last month and he had told me when I found something that I wanted he would buy it for me. So I am hoping that I can find a wallet or wristlet to go with it at the outlet mall.

Well we are back from our vacation in Virginia. The outlet mall was way better than I expected. My hubby bought me a new coach purse. I could have spent so much money there. I wasn't supposed to buy any purses since I had just bought the dooney right before we left for vacation, but I seen this one that I liked and he snuck back there and got it for me. It was marked $268 and we got it for $110.

Ok, girls I'm going to let you in on a little secret. I too am a huge coach fan. I just started my collection a little over a year ago and so far I have 5 bags, 1wallet, a wristlet, a mini skinny, and a scarf. The best part being I haven't paid full price for any of it and I got it at the retail stores.

Four times a year coach has a friends and family event. You get 25% off just about everything in the store. You have to be invited to these, but if you know when the sale is taking place and go in and very quietly ask the sales associate for the discount they will usually give it to you. They work on commission. Also, being that I only purchase when they're having the sale and I always buy multiple items I'm on the list now and get the invite. The next sale will probably be in September as they just had one in June.

Finally, there's a purse forum on that gives you tons of information on pretty much all designer bags. They have threads explaining how to tell a fake from an authentic bag, which ebayers are selling real bags, who's having sales, all kinds of great information. Just do a search for purse forum and it should be the first listing.

IMO, Coach is not worth it. I'm an avid purse collector, I have 6 LVs and 1 Gucci (I want more lol) and just plan to add more of those and hopeful other designers. I used to be into Coach, but lately their quality has gone downhill while their prices have gone way up. It's better to save up and get Gucci, LV, Dior, and Chanel (I, and my friends, know these designers to be worth the money). Trust me, Coach is not as good as it used to be. A friend of my mom who works in the Fashion industry told us Coach has began to make their products less durable because they USED to be so well made women would buy a purse and have it for years and never buy another.
