(Title)"Yorkie Talk Cooks" (Sub title)"Recipes from around the world!"

what do you think of this?

I want to have this project completed and printed by Dec 1st, this way it will be here for Xmas.

I'm not sure how many recipes you can submit, I guess it depends on who wants to submit. We will need around 300 recipes!

If you go with that one, you may want to make sure that you will get enough recipes from other countries. That subtitle may not make sense if only 1% of the recipes are from places other than the US. You would also need to note somewhere in the recipe which country it came from since that is part of the title. Still not really sure about emphasizing that the recipes are from everywhere since YorkieTalk in itself is international.

Or you could do something like YorkieTalk Cooks! with the subtitle "Recipes for Dog Lovers and their Dogs" I don't know, just some thoughts. Anymore ideas?

I would suggest that everyone be allowed to submit as many recipes as they want to. This would help to ensure that you get enough recipes and if you get more than you need, then you can go through and select the best ones or the ones that offer up the most variety (also helps to ensure you don't end up with 5 recipes for the same dish).

I agree on both counts. The first seems logical.
Regarding the second, I will submit a lot of recipes (time permitting), but if some of them are not as desireable as some others that other people submit, my feelings won't be hurt. I just want to contribute so that it's a success! I hope everyone will take that to heart if there are too many recipes submitted (and there seems to be a LOT of members here, so it seems like a likely possibility...that's a GOOD thing!).

That's a great idea! A lot of my recipes are my own ... I can't stand it unless I experiment with a recipe and make it better [or more to our taste!]. I have learned to keep a pad a pencil handy to make notes just in case it turns out to be fantastic!!

Fortunately, I have only put a couple of things on the table that would cause you to spit it out!!!

Although I rarely cook, I do love to experiment!!

well we need to come up with a name quick, so we can start submitting recipes.

I want the name to be simple and to the point!

how about recipes from around the US?

I sugest you PM me with some titles and then we will start a poll on them and let people vote, we will keep the voting open for 1 week and then what ever title has the most, then that will be the winner.

I want a title and a sub title, so please PM me your titles.

Will there be sections for different kinds of receipes? Such as:
Meats, veggies, deserts and dips, drinks?

Just a thought.

well I know we will have some from Canada, so hopefully we will get a few more from around the world.

I will be starting a poll tomorrow.

Keep the titles coming, I only have received 2 PM's so far.
