| Pet store I'm not sure where to put this, but hopefully someone can help out. Perfect Pets Of Va, LLC 9132 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23294 phone: (804) 762-7387 http://www.perfectpetsofva.com They currently have a puppy (not sure of the breed because a friend told me about this) that is lethargic, green, runny goop coming out of it's eyes and nose, in their store. She contacted animal control and they said that it's normal for puppies to have that. The store owner shrugged her off and said that it had a complete vet check prior to coming to their store. I just thought that maybe someone else was in the area and could help out with who to contact about this!

| I have been going through a similar situation with a petstore near me since 2004! We just moved into our new house and were looking for a lab puppy. We ended up at a local pet store just to look... and they had 2 black great dane puppies wandering around the store. They were both very ill. Pnemonia, kennel cough, coccidia, round worms,hookworms...you name it they had it! I ended up buying them just so I could get them to a vet. When I brought them to my vet the vet said he would try as hard as he could, but didn't think they would make it through the night. They did eventually get better but were hosptilized for 3 months. Just because kennel cough may be "common" in puppies does not mean that it is not animal abuse if left untreated. It will turn into pnemonia. I would call the police dept. if I were you. Request an officer to be sent out. They can require the pup be seen by a vet within so many days. Good luck |

| hi!! i live not far from that store and i have gone often and my mom does a lot of rescue work, and she goes probably every other week, shese adopted her cat there too. i have never seen that store have anything less than perfect conditions for their pets. the guy that owns the store (i dont know him personally) but he is very experienced he owns tigers, and other exotic pets, he has loose animals in the store. the only horrbile store in richmaond va is Pauleys pups, all the pups are sickly looking with discharge and stained with urine, and walk on wire crates until they are adopted its awful. im not saying that it isnt possible but that i have never seen that store with a sick looking puppy |

| I believe that the sick puppy is there now if you'd like to look and see that it's ok! They have contacted animal control and the police an they said they would check it out but there was nothing they could do.
