| I gave my brother "bangs" once when I was about 7 or 8...I kept trying to even them out and they kept getting SHORTER and SHORTER! The look on my mom's face was priceless! HAH!

I don't know why but anything wet would bother me BIG time ex. Popsicles on the walls or furniture, spilled kool aid, sticky candy, spilled milk etc., ...but the dry messes don't really bother me ex. spilled chips, crackers that are stepped on, ...... I used to give my son a bag of unpopped popcorn or dried Navy beans to go in the living room to play w/ in his trucks, as if it where sand, didn't hear a peep out of him for a while...then his "sand" got vacuumed up....

My mom told me some funny stories of my older brother too. When he was 4 he wanted to surprise my mom on mothers day so he told her to stay in the bedroom and not to come out yet. When she did the whole living room had soap on everything, on the coach, the floor, the table, everywhere! OMG i died when she told me. And he was like "SURPRISE! I CLEANED FOR YOU MOMMY...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!"

| When my oldest son was around 2, we were in the parking lot by our garage in our then apartment building... The car was running for some reason - I can't even remember why now... but my son got in and shifted it into reverse. We saw the car slowly backing down the short drive and we tried to get to it but couldn't. It (with my son at the wheel) went down the drive, across the street and smashed into the fence of the school yard. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I was crying as I scooped up my boy... Then I saw the fence... Well, we talked to the folks at the school and they didn't charge us or make us replace it or anything.... Man, how do we parents make it through their childhoods??? |

| I was a hairdresser when I was a kid! Yup! I cut off EVERY single barbie's hair that I owned. Ruined a curling iron by trying to Curl barbies hair!! (it melts!!! haha) and then I moved on to friends & cousins barbies and chopped off their hair! My parents found themselves buying replacement barbies for EVERYONE after a visit from me!!!
