Please help...we had a long night with Minnie..

Hey everyone thanks for the prayers and responses..we just got back from the vet and he said that based on what we told him since he wasn't there he doesn't know for sure but he said it could have been a seizure and since shes so young the only thing he could think of was epilepsy. He also told me that it could have been fatal if it lasted for more than 10 minutes. Since he didn't know for sure he offered me a blood test I should have the results tomorrow by noon. He said it will check for liver failure and things like that. As of now he said everything looks okay, her temp is normal, and her gums are pink again, and her heart beat was good. Thanks again everyone i'll keep you updated.

Oh girl I am so glad to hear that right now everything looks good Thanks so much for the update (I have been thinking about you guys!) and be sure and let us know what her blood work results say

glad to hear she is feeling better and that the vet said she looked ok

let us know what the blood work says and keep us posted on her condition

and they are like that the er vets and stuff they say its like supply and demand

they have the care you need and they want your arm and leg in return if not go away and its so sad

but even some local hospitals are this way now

they will get you in stabilize you and then trasport you to another hospital

what we call our welfare hospital and you wait aorund for hours and then they say they transport you for free if you cannot pay but weeks later you get ab ill from the hospital and then from the ambulance and such

its to sad i mean some people want to decive and cheat but for those of us who are honest the ones who are cheaters have ruined it for us

its sad but im glad you found a vet and got her checked

Glad to hear Minnie's good for now. Praying it was just a fluke and it's nothing serious. Keep us posted and give Lillian and Cosmo(I can hear him growling at the very thought of it ) and especially Minnie a big hug.

A few weeks ago we got a letter in the mail saying Minnie was due for her distemper but I didn't think anything of it cause they always send those dang notices and since we have changed vets 3 times already I figured shes probably had it but just not that that particular vet. Plus I thought they only had those as puppies?

okay everyone great news! the vet just called and said Minnies blood work is normal..he told me to keep and eye on her for now. He said since he wasn't there he can't really tell me what caused it Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!
