| Kathryn, you are to be commended for having your life in such good order. Although you are facing some major changes, you have such a wonderfully positive outlook. Isn't it wonderful how the Lord' answers our prayers -- your neighbor steping in to "steal" Charlie away from you and Misty ready, willing and able to provide a loving home for Paris. I am sending nothing but good wishes, love and positive vibes. Wish I lived closer, I'd even chip in and help with the moving...... |

| You're doing the right thing for your family. Charlie and Paris will be well taken care of, don't worry on that count. Call me if you want to talk (or even vent). You're in my prayers and just know that if things don't work out, you and your whole family are welcome to come move in with me.

| Kathryn, I am so sorry for everything you are going through right now. That is an alot of changes that happened so suddenly. You are a very strong and positive person, I know things will work out for the best for you. I am glad Charlie and Paris found great homes and that is great that they will still be close by. I love all my furbabies dearly but I will admit, there are ones that are more closer to me than some of the others. You are doing the right thing and kudos to you for being such a wonderful caring daughter!! Sending prayers, hugs and good wishes your way!!

| We do what we have to do. At the end of the day only you have to be able to lay your head down and sleep the peaceful sleep of someone who knows they have done what is right at this time in their life. |

| i'm so sorry you are having to make such tough choices. you are very admirable for wanting to take care of your dad. when my parents were alive, me being their caregiver was the most urgent thing going on in my life. no one could take care of my parents like their only child, ME. it was an honor to me to be able to help my parents. i wish you well on your move. |

I'm sooooo glad you and hanna Banana said something! You two made me feel so much better! It really is true that you bond differently with them... you can love them all and I do. But I will be the first to admitt that I have favorites... and my favorite is not the prettiest or the most well behaved.... why I has to prefer the pain in the ass, I'll never know... but my heart belongs to that barking B!#@* .... oh, I mean Pixie! lol

| Kathryn, I'm sorry to hear of all that you are going through, but it sounds like you and the Heavenly Father have it all worked out. He's pretty good at coming alongside us when we need Him and let Him, isn't he? I'm so glad to hear that you are showing your love for your dad in such a tangible way. It is very encouraging to all of us with grown children. I know my daughter would help me and take care of me if I needed it, but it's wonderful to see the example. God bless you really, really good Kathryn. |

No Longer a Member | I just wanted to say that while we are absolutely ecstatic that we are getting to be Paris' new parents, that we know that this does not come without much pain to Kathryn... You never know what kind of curve-balls life will throw at you, and you do what you have to do. I know that it has to be so hard to make this choice, but I promise to be the best mommy I can be to Paris! We fell in love with her immediately! And yes, to answer the hint, here are the pictures we took at our meeting. There was one more, but it came out very blurry. Just look at her, isn't she totally gorgeous!! And she has the best personality...so sweet and calm, and she sat in my arms for a long time without trying to jump out of them. I feel we have been very blessed to be the ones to take care of her! |
