| ![]() My post don't get a lot of replys but I thought this would be of interest. PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pennsylvania is placing online the complete inspection records of its 2,600 licensed dog kennels. The Web site, which went live this week, also allows for more accurate record-keeping and cuts down on paperwork, said Chris Ryder, spokesman for Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, which is in charge of the dog law enforcement bureau. http://services.agriculture.state.pa...spections.aspx

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() hmmmmm.....it's cool that they're putting them online ....but I have a problem with what the inspectors DON'T cite kennels for. They sure let alot slide by from what I've read and even seen with my own eyes.....I wish the laws were adjusted to have the animals welfare at heart and not someones wallet... maybe with them going online things will get better - it HAS to be a step in the right direction and from the way this country works - it's all baby steps when it comes to Man's BEST Friend. |

| ![]() PA really seems to be stepping up when it comes to PA kennels. Sure, some people can still find fault it in, but it's better than nothing.

| ![]() Can someone give me a PA kennel name to try at the site? I'd like to refer this to my congressman and suggest that IL do the same thing. V makes a good point but it is a start! Thanks for letting us know about it. |

![]() but your vet should know good boarding kennels ...that or find a good friend to keep them but make sure you go over everything with whoever you leave them with...having small dogs is alot different than what some people are used to. Many Vets have boarding facilities on site...at least one of mine does - there are groomers that do 'boarding' too. ps....(2600 kennels is ALOT in PA) but our country is full of them in every state unfortunately

| ![]() I just wanted to add that I know the Amish aren't the only ones running puppymill. Those just happen to be the first on the list. It makes me mad that ANYONE does this!

especially THIS PART there would be gas heat in the kennel, fans for ventilation, dogs would be sold retail and wholesale, the dogs would be “debarked” people - you all do NOT want to know how these puppymillers de-bark their dogs - it's INSANELY CRUEL
