| I get terrible headaches myself and pressure in my face that I want to cry. I boil a pot of water. Put it on the table and put a towel over my head and stick my face in the steam. It helps relieve the pressure for me. Strangely enough so does yoga! |

| I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | I forgot to add, another thing that really helps is putting alot of pressure and rubbing in a circular motion on the back of my neck (up high on my neck, at the very top, right below the head) with my fingertips. Kind of rub in a circular motion while "pinching" your fingers in and out applying alot of pressure (it's hard to explain without actually demonstrating it lol ) like someone would do if they were rubbing, or massaging their temples. It REALLY helps relieve alot of the tension/pain. I was even told to do this by a doctor once but I was already doing it - so obviously doctors recommend it too. Really helps!

| I suffer from migraines too. Tried Maxalt, but imitrex works better for me. Caffeine can help headaches sometimes--that's what Excedrine headache has in it. Go have a double espresso and see if it helps. Exercise--sometimes it helps and sometimes it makes it much worse....if your head is just throbbing like crazy, don't try it. Oh--if you can get it, Tylenol 3 works EVERY TIME...it just makes you goofy. Has codiene so you need a perscription, and my doctors have not liked to prescribe it. | Take your index finger from your left hand and put it on top of the "web/skin" area between your right index finger and right thumb. Now put your Left thumb under the area beneath your left index finger and massage that area for 10 to 15 minutes. Works every time for me. |

| That's true, caffeine causes rebound headaches, that's one reason why it's so addictive.
