| I do not think he could be all Westie --Westies have a short full face, rounded not long and pointy like this little one. I think someone else got into the woodpile with a westie to make that baby. Who knows -- could have been something like a rat terrier, even a Jack Russell. The wiry hair thing makes me think Schnauzer or Fox Terrier but their faces are more square-ish -- not long and pointy. Those are some big ol' ears! LOL -- he may grow into them though. I think he's a cutie no matter what his particular mixture.

| I have looked through a gazillion pictures of Westies and actually they do have the wirey hair. I have found tons of pics of 4 month old westies and they do look EXACTLY like him. Like someone said before, they go through an awkward stage at this age and when their coats grow in they look much different. Its funny to take a look around at different breeders website and check out their four month old pups pictures...you wont believe how they look at this age...totally the same!! I hope we can keep him and watch him mature and see what he looks like when his coat comes in... Dawn |

| DOn't worry--he's all Westie. His hair just hasn't filled in yet. They all have a longish face underneath all the fur. |

| Looks like a Westie to me, had a friend that had one for many years, I think he was one of the best dogs I've ever met, a real great little companion. Hope you are able to keep him, but if not, he'll be a wonderful addition to any family.
