It's nice but I've had better. Even the Jibere one that I used to get at Sally's for $40 is better. But you know what, I have naturally straight hair so I am basing my opinion on that. My friend who has a really tight curl uses the Jibere one. She loves it. She also used my pink chi and said that somehow the black one works better. Good Luck.

| I was surprised too! At the salon, the girl cutting my hair did it on me.. basically you take the flat iron, slide it to the bottom of the hair, then twist it up and hold it for a second and it makes these really pretty curly waves.. not super curly but just curly enough if that makes sense, lol! |

| Does the Chi dry out your hair? I'm thinking of getting highlights (on top of straightening my hair). Would the Chi burn my hair if it's processed like that? Does anyone use their Chi and have highlights?

| I don't have hilights now but I used to when I just got it. There was no difference for me. My hair would still shine and wouldn't be stiff or anything like that. I think a good Color Treatment Shampoo is very helpful though.Good Luck.

| Is this a good deal for the flat iron and hair dryer? Or would it be more cost efficient to buy them separately? http://www.folica.com/CHI_All_About_T_d2310.html

| I have had a CHI before, and I ended up not liking it because I keep highlights in my hair year round. It always dried my hair out. After awhile I heard some good things about the Sedu flat iron, so I bought it almost 2 years ago, and it's still going strong. It makes my hair shiny and so soft, and never dries it out. (I sound like a sales rep!) Actually my sister has the worst, natural curly hair ever, and it's soooo thick! So I bought her one for Christmas, and the difference that it makes in her hair is amazing. I will never own another brand again. I bought mine off of folica... www.folica.com

| I think I'm just going to play it off and order it off a reputable website and NOT e-bay. Thanks.

| They're so sneaky! And for someone like me who really knows nothing about a Chi, I would have totally bought it (especially because I was in a rush). But the price got to me, so that's why I posted about it. Good thing I did!
