| Jenny Craig Has anyone used the Jenny Craig program? How did it work for you? How fast (& how much) did you lose? How was the food, really? Did you keep the weight off once you stopped eating Jenny foods? Also, has anyone used the Jenny Craig Direct program (at-home), specifically? There aren't any centres near me at all so I'd have to do it this way... Thanks in advance for any info

| I used Jenny craig (at home program) and was successful. The main thing is that you HAVE to stay motivated which can be difficult at times. The first week, I lost 4 pounds. That's a nice change I think. The food tastes great but it's really expensive. Also, it's not "diet" food as many would think. It's regular everyday food that you can make yourself. The reason for the high cost is that it's all portioned for you and you also get a menu planner that shows you what to eat and when. Make sure no matter what type of weightloss program you choose, you HAVE to exercise. I was doing 30 minutes of cardio everyday. The cardio helps you burn fat and calories while the small frequent meals help you speed up your metabolism. It's a very convenient program but it's so pricey. I spent over $300 for 1 month of food. That's insane. With $300 I can supplies groceries for my entire household for a full month. Good luck with whatever you choose

Thanks for all the info! I lost over 60lbs with Weight Watchers when I was young (13 I think) and I know that program works, but I just don't want to do it that way this time, for some unkown reason? And because of that I can't seem to stick to it. All this coming from a girl who wouldn't even lick a spoon without counting it. And I see all the commercials for Jenny Craig (yes, people, marketing actually works lol) and figure hey...that looks good! But, not sure I could spend $300+/month and it would probably be more expensive in Canada... Hmmm....anyways, thanks for the info

Things like salad with almonds and oranges. Or chicken breast with salsa. They're really yummy, easy to make and filling. Not to mention the low fat.

| You know, you can do a Jenny Craig type of diet by counting calories or WW points and using Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice, or Smart Ones for your pre-packaged meals. It's the same principle - the portions are right there for you. You will have to devise some sort of snacks - but it is the same principle and not so darned expensive. Now, if you want to take all the work out of it and just be given your meals, then Jenny is the way to go! My daughter lost 50 pounds on Jenny Craig - I lost 35 pounds on WW, using mostly the pre-packaged meals I mentioned above. I counted the points and ate the pre-packaged meals for lunch and dinner. I ate a regular (not prepackaged) breakfast and then ate air popped popcorn, low fat ice cream or something like that for snacks. Good luck!

| How about a weigh loss support group on here. I have NO will power and am continuously plauged by negative thoughts & opinions of myself b/c I am overweight and have ZERO self confidence. Would anyone be on board for this??? We could do a weekly weigh in here just like at a group

| Okay, I hope this is okay with Rusty's Momma since she's the one who had the idea in the first place...but, I set up an MSN group called "YT Losers!" complete with message boards so we don't clutter up the YT boards. Also, it'll be a little more "private" for the shy members. Anyways, here's the link http://groups.msn.com/YTLosers see you there

| I went on JC and lost lots of weight. I got sick of the food, and went off. Gained all my weight back, plus. They DO teach you how to eat right off their food. I just got lazy. I'm paying for it now. I would recommend the program.
