| [News] Dog gives its life for family A Chihuahua named Paco tried to sound the alarm that an intruder had entered his owner’s Northeast Dallas apartment early Tuesday, but his persistent barks ceased when he was stabbed. A person with a shotgun and large knife confronted a man who was smoking outside his apartment in the 9800 block of Walnut Street near Audelia Road. The suspect escorted the man into his apartment and demanded money. The man’s golden Chihuahua began to bark at the suspect, and the intruder grabbed the dog and tried to break his neck, according to the police report. When that failed, the suspect grabbed the dog and stabbed it. The suspect fled with money and two game consoles. Police took Paco to a veterinarian, but he had to be euthanized after suffering serious injuries. No family members were injured and police were searching for the suspect. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcont....30bc914.html#

| that is horrible. What a brave little dog.He just might have saved his owner from suffering his same fate If the thief was capable of trying to break his neck and stabbing him,who knows what he would have done to the owner if he wouldhave resisted. Genie,Cookie,Lola & Angel |
