Tried to steal credit card

Not to mention there is the scam where someone calls from XXX credit card company. They'll tell you that someone is trying to use your card. They'll even read back your card number and tell you the amount of purchase.

They have your card number and expiration date. They'll tell you for verification purposes if you'll read them the last 3 digits on the back of the card. DO NOT GIVE THEM THESE NUMBERS. This is how many online purchases are made.

Instead, ask for their name and number. Tell them that you'll call them back. Instead, call YOUR credit card company phone number and ask them. Your credit card company KNOWS the last 3 digits that are on the back of the card and would never ask you for it.
