| Kittens I just found 3 kittens in my back yard. Sadly one has passed away. They are really young and don't appear to be weaned yet. What should I do? One kitten is 2times bigger than the other one. The one that died was in between the 2 surviors.

| well if you don't plan on keeping them.. get them straight to the humane society.. if you do plan on keeping them... you can buy kitten formula at a petstore.. i'd start with that but DEFINITLY get them to a vet |

| What I would do is keep them untill they are a little older and then find homes for them or taken them to your local Humane Society. If you take them too little they may have no choice but to euthanize them.

| My sister used to work for the humane society in Wichita, Ks. I know that if I were to take these babies to the humane society they would be put to sleep. I don't want that to happen. I can't keep them because I have a son with asthma and cats really trigger it. I've tried to bottle feed these babies and they are gagging on the milk. I called my vet and set up an appointment for tomorrow. I'm so worried for the little one. She's nothing but skin and bones. They are both crying and the little one is shaking.

| They are finally lapping up the milk. I'm so happy. I need to find them homes soon though. They are going to be spending the night in the garage since I don't want my son sick.

| Put a heating pad under a blanket and lay the babies on it. Try to get some Karo Syrup down them. At least the little one. Whip up some raw egg and mix in a little milk warm it and syring feed the babies. What are you feeding them with that they are gagging on? I have had many strays abandon babys in my yard or in my barn and many of them have lived! That is what I would do through the night till you get them to the vet. Keep me updated on how they are doing. Good luck

Anyone in the OKC area want a kitten? I think they are both females. They are grey with white legs/feet with some stripes. The bigger one is a lighter gray with some tan markings and the white legs and feet.

| i've raised a few kittens that were only 2 weeks old at most when I found them and they all lived to be very healthy, loving cats. I really wish I still lived in OK...I would take them in a heart beat good luck, I hope this works out and you are able to find homes. have you posted at the petsmart stores and such? I would post at the vets around you as well.

| The kittens made it through the night. They quieted right down as soon as I put them in the garage away from the noises and bustle of the house. They were really hungry this morning and ate some canned food. I will update again when we get back from the vet.

| Update The vet said the kittens are slowly starving. They are about 3wks old. I can't afford to leave them at the vet and have them tube feed them. I'm not sure what to do now. I'm so upset thinking they may not make it. I'm force feeding them milk replacer now. Other than that I'm unsure on my next step.

| I wish I lived closer to Norman. My van broke down this afternoon and now I don't have any transportation. I live about 2hrs southwest of OKC so even farther from Norman.
