Only in TEXAS would hail get that big....Shana - how's your house ? Can you see any damage ??

I kept thinking all night about all the outside dogs... then the livestock that live outside....I can't imagine how many terrified animals there were during that storm and hope none were hurt...

I walked around my poperty today and didnt see any visible damage yet other than lots of broken tree branches.

I feel so bad for livestock and any animals outside, what do they normally try to do?

I've never seen hail that big... Where I come from we never got hail, at least not bigger than pea size. I'm glad you're ok, sorry for the cars though...

I watched a National Geographic about a tornado coming down somewhere in FL, several years ago, and the zoo happened to be on its path. Some animals could've been put inside but some - like big ones or the birds, had to stay out. Surprisingly, none of them got seriously hurt, as their instincts told them how and where wait for the storm to be over...

Yes, they were - the windshields were broken as were all the head lights and tail lights. The dents were SO DEEP that they were horrible - it wasn't just little dings. The insurance estimate to fix all the damage was more than they were worth and they looked so horrible, plus the windshields and rear windshields all had to be replaced, so we just took the insurance money and used it to make down payments on new cars. It was really rough!
