I've never seen hail that big... Where I come from we never got hail, at least not bigger than pea size. I'm glad you're ok, sorry for the cars though...

I watched a National Geographic about a tornado coming down somewhere in FL, several years ago, and the zoo happened to be on its path. Some animals could've been put inside but some - like big ones or the birds, had to stay out. Surprisingly, none of them got seriously hurt, as their instincts told them how and where wait for the storm to be over...
