				   | Definitely get the scale if it fits your budget. I really does help with portion control. I use the digital scale also, because it will as small as grams. I find the scale and measuring cups very useful. Yes, also get the portable points calculator. It is very helpful when grocery shopping or in determining points when you are out and about. The new cardboard kind they give you now is very flimsy and cheap and will not hold up for long. I don't know how much they are on ebay, but weight watchers sales them for no more than $10.00, so I would not go over that about.

				   | Do you use the weight watchers scale or another brand? I did order a points calculator off of ebay yesterday, at my meetings they won't be in for a month and a half so I went ahead and got one on Ebay. Quote:

				   | When you say measuring cups, do you have weight watchers measuring cups? I haven't seen these. Quote:

				   | Way to go on the 4 lbs.!! What is your goal? I would love to lose 50lbs.-60lbs. My son needs to lose 25lbs.-30lbs. I haven't been that size since I got pregnant with my first son who is now 14. Quote:

				   | 2 other good sites are receipezaar and calorieking. You don't have to join calorieking, they still let you look stuff up. My sister and sister in law and I joined together-they have made goal and are doing well-me I've got more pounds to go (about 20). The meetings are very good especially if it's a group that shares. It's important to really keep track of those points because they sneak up on you. I also keep 100 calories snack packs in my car because sometimes McD's and other places like that just look sooooo good and I find if I have something with me I can usually fight them off. Another thing our leader shared with us was the Altoids Chocolate covered peppermints 2=0 points. That little taste of chocolate makes my day. The WW pitas are also good 1=1. Good luck-we know you can do it!

I'm the biggest I've ever been right now, so I'm looking to lose about 60 as well. This past year has been a tough one, but I'm really ready to get healthy! | |

I use regular measuring cups when measuring out cereal, or other dry goods.

I would however, invest in a digital scale that weighs your weight. I used to have the kind that rolled to numbers and/or lines designating the "in-between" numbers and it was so hard to keep track of my weight that way. I always wanted to know what my weight loss was before weighing in, and I found the digital scale to be so much more accurate and reliable. I bought the WW supported brand of Conair.

I also like the spoons because my family doesn't even realize I am controlling their portions when I use them . I feel like I've been doing WW my whole life. I just started back too. The most important thing to remember is that "accidents" happen and tomorrow is a new day. It is usually not one "bad" day that ruins the week. | |
