Omg OH MY GOSH I THINK I'M IN LOVE! Okay, for someone that never really wanted to have children, I am totally SMITTEN w/ this little girl. I find myself picking her apart like an AKC judge, lol, but even w/ what I find, I know things change drastically...I still can't get over every little thing she does; every face she makes, even how she smells! And no, I'm not talking about the diapers. But still, even that doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'm just in Love w/ her! It's fabulous, and everyone on here was absolutely right about how I'd feel. It's amazing. With that said....I'm done! I am going to get my tubes tied next month. Taylor was a....I hate the word "accident", but you know what I mean, and I'd like to not have that repeated and I can't see wanting another, although I'm ABSOLUTELY GLAD I carried Taylor to term. I can't imagine being w/o her now. Thank You everyone. This sort of out pour of concern and thoughtful emotions is exactly what makes YT a unique and wonderful group to belong to. (we fight; we appologize; we make up and we move on.....just like family!)

Awww Leslie, I admire you so much. You are very level headed and you did what you felt was best for you, and now the outcome is so rewarding to you.... I knew you'd be SMITTEN as soon as you layed eyes on that sweet little baby. I also respect your decision to make sure you never have another accident. The word in itself isn't so pretty, but believe me they happen every day and I myself was one...hee hee! I really wanted another baby after my daugther but was unable to. But you know what? At this point in time, I would NOT want to go through it again!! Nope, no way! My girl is growing up, she is a blessing in my life and although I did at one time want a second child, as it stands now, I am happy she is my only baby...she gets totally spoiled and has no one to share her things with, ha! I'm so looking forward to watching Taylor grow and please, share her "somewhere" else...we're all dying to ewww and awww over her! Take care sweetie!!!!

| Accident I like this explanation from the tv show Roseanne. DJ asks Roseanne if he was an accident. She tells him no, you were a surprise. When he asks what's the difference, she explains...an accident is something that happens to you that you wouldn't want to do over again if given the choice but a surprise is something you didn't know you wanted until you got it. Wait until she really sees you and smiles just because you're there or the first time she says ma ma. You have so much to look forward to.

I LOVE the explination of "suprise" vs. "accident". Thanks for posting that! That's a fabulous way of putting it. She's just a doll and I think the Yorkies love her too! Ava went into season for the first time the day I went into the hospital and since then she's been quite on top of keeping track of Taylor. It's really quite cute.

Taylor is doing well w/ the breast; bottled breast milk and bottled formula. Thankfully. I was afraid there would be "nipple confusion", but so far so good. Thanks for all the tips and advice ladies! The only time she cries, honestly is when I've gone a touch over the three hour mark for a feeding (otherwise I always have to wake her) or if she's going to the bathroom and there's gas behind it. Poor girl. Otherwise, nothing really seems to bother her yet and she's quite easy going. I just switched bottle types and hope that that'll help w/ her gas issue, burping her only does so much. And the Father still chooses to not be a part of her life and that's his perogative. I'm not interested in swaying him to be. His loss. I didn't want children and I don't want anymore children, but I'm very happy to have met Taylor...she's amazing. More than I ever could've anticipated in a child of my own.

OH! AND MORPHINE IS A CRAZY, CRAZY DRUG! I feel so drunk and out of it on that stuff. They put only a TINY amount in my spinal block, but jesus, I was so out of it I almost fell asleep and miss Taylor's first cry. And the c-section surgery itself was just amazing...healing wise. My doctor did a FABULOUS job all around. The staples are out now and I look forward to working out again to get my physique back to it's pre-preggo shape as best it can be. And I DID get some stretch marks, right in the last week or two. *ARGH* I thought I was good, in the "home stretch"...no marks and then BAM! They appeared around my belly button. Anyone have any experience w/ Maderma? I know many say that nothing works, just time, but I'm willing to spend a little in the attempt!
