I like this explanation from the tv show Roseanne.
DJ asks Roseanne if he was an accident. She tells him no, you were a surprise. When he asks what's the difference, she explains...an accident is something that happens to you that you wouldn't want to do over again if given the choice but a surprise is something you didn't know you wanted until you got it.
Wait until she really sees you and smiles just because you're there or the first time she says ma ma. You have so much to look forward to.
